Network File Storage

Faculty and staff members at USF St. Petersburg are designated file storage space on our file servers, commonly known around campus as the "P drive". The "P drive" shows up as a network, or mapped, drive in Windows Explorer. Campus departments also have file storage drives and folders (Q, R, S, T and U drives). The storage space for these network drives is only to be used for work-related purposes.

File Backup and Restoration

Both employee and departmental file storage drives are backed up on a nightly basis, in case of accidental file deletion, file corruption or server down-time. Faculty and staff members that need assistance with recovering files should submit a service request by sending an email to helpdesk@usfsp.edu.
