Computer Setup and Maintenance

After purchasing and receiving a new computer, the Campus Computing Help Desk staff will install a standard set of software to facilitate the use of the new computer depending on its operating environment (office, conference room, mobile, etc.).

The Help Desk also provides services for maintaining and upgrading older computers. Campus Computing maintains a set of standard computer hardware and software for computers at USFSP. Following these standards allows us to streamline many computer upgrades. Below is a list of computers that fall within our supported standards.

To schedule a new computer setup, installation, or maintenance of a current computer, please submit a service request by sending an email to helpdesk@usfsp.edu.
