Classroom Technology

Classroom Technology is a joint operation between Campus Computing and Instructional Media Services that supports the educational technology needs of faculty and students in a classroom setting. Campus Computing provides the computing resources necessary for instructors to enhance the learning experience of all USFSP students.

Faculty members are required to attend a short orientation before using the classroom technology equipment. This orientation should be scheduled with the Campus Computing staff at least 48 hours before using the equipment. A Bayboro computer access account will also be required to login to the classroom computers, and will be covered during the orientation session if needed. To schedule an appointment, please submit a service request by sending an email to helpdesk@usfsp.edu.

Note: The instructions below are provided in a PDF document file format. Some computers may require additional software, such as Adobe Reader, to open and print PDF files.

Classroom Equipment Instructions

The list below provides instructions for the use of classroom technology. These instructions include information about the audiovisual equipment. For audiovisual assistance, such as help with projectors or DVD players, call the Instructional Media department at 873-4409.

Scantron Testing Equipment

There are three Scantron machines: one at the Bayboro Hall computer lab, room 226; a second in the College of Arts and Sciences mail room; and a third at the College of Business offices in the Piano Man building.
